Why is my tax refund different this year but no changes from the past salary or deductions?

This year my refund is about 50% lower than previous years with basically the same yearly salary and no other differences?

You can compare your Form 1040's for this year and last year side by side, to look for differences.

Sometimes it's a typo, or misplaced period or comma in an amount.
