Why is my federal return almost half of what it was last year? Income is almost the same and no changes to claims

we can see your return so must guess.  less withholding and/or estimates paid in 2018.  the best you could do is compare '18 and '19 returns line by line but becuase of format changes some lines are different on the 18 and 19 returns
