Why do I have to file married filing jointly if my husband and I haven’t lived together over 7 years and have no children?

If you are still legally married, you must file either married filing jointly or married filing separately. You can't file single and since you have no qualifying person who you claim to qualify you as Head of Household, you can't use that filing status.

So what do I do because if I file married filing jointly, I have to have his social security number and AGI for 2018 . He won’t give me that information

You can't file a married filing jointly tax return unless your spouse agrees to it and provides all the information including the spouse's income to enter on the tax return. Your only choice without this is to file Married Filing Separately. If you can't get his SSN to efile this way, you will have to print and mail your return.
