Why did I receive payment vouchers when I selected a direct payment method?

I filed my taxes and when asked how I wanted to pay the owed balance, I selected the option to have the funds wired directly from my bank account.  However, when I downloaded my tax return, I saw four payment vouchers, and I'm not sure why I received those and whether I need to do something about them.

Why did I receive payment vouchers when I selected a direct payment method?

The payment vouchers are not for the taxes that you owe for 2023. TurboTax generates estimated tax payment vouchers if you are self-employed or there isn't enough withholding from your income so you won't be in the same situation next year. If you pay the estimated taxes and your income and credits are similar to 2023, you won't have a balance due when you file your taxes. You don't have to make these payments, TurboTax calculates the estimated tax payments based on your information.
