Why am I being required to upgrade to Deluxe when I don't have an HSA this year? I did last year but, not this year.

Last year, did you have excess HSA contributions (TurboTax would have been very noisy about it).

If so, you would have an HSA carryover. This counts as a contribution, so your HSA has to be reported.

What do you mean "I did last year but, not this year." Did you close your HSA? It is persistent and doesn't go away until you actually close it.
