Where on my tax return do I enter private pay caregiver?

You would enter the information on your private pay caregiver on Form 2441 - Child and Dependent Care Expenses.

To access this form, you will need to:

1. Enter Form 2441 in the Search Magnifying Glass in the upper right hand corner of the screen
2. Select Jump to form 2441
3. Enter the information on these screens

If you pay someone that came into your home to provide private care giving:

1. Search for household employee taxes, sch h (use this exact term including the comma and space).
2. Select the Jump to link at the top of the search results.
3. Answer Yes to Did You Have a Nanny or Household Employee? and follow the instructions.
