Where is the received from on the 1099-DIV?

In the 1099-DIV section, it asks for "Received from." There is no such item on my 1099-DIVs. Is this the section titled, "Payer's name, Federal ID number" or the "Reported by" or something else?

Yes, it's the Payer's information that should be entered.

Perhaps TurboTax should call it Payer's Information then?

Perhaps so.  However, every form is different.  You mentioned the word Payer was on your form so that would be who you received it from.   Unfortunately, some forms only state a name and address and nothing else to indicate who the payer is for that income.  That may be the reason for the wording in the software.
