Where do I type in the details that go on form 8949

I typed in the summary of the 1099B, but how do I list the details for Covered ShortTerm Gains or Losses on Gross Proceeds (as required for IRS Form 8949?

If you entered the summary information, and the sale is "covered" AND you do NOT need to adjust it because of an entry in box 1f, 1g, or "other adjustments", and you No non-covered sales, you don't need to enter in the details.

If you have more than one sale, you would keep entering each sale as a  new sale, or, instead of entering the summary for each sales category, you would select "I'll enter one sale at at time"

Detail Reporting Exception: if you summarize Category A or Category D, Form 8949 is not needed for transactions without adjustments. No mailing is necessary. No attachment is necessary.

Box A and Box D on your consolidated 1099-B are your covered transactions.
