Where can I find how much I owe the IRS? Is that supposed to be found on my W2?

I need to file for tax extension but I don't know what to put for what I owe the IRS

It will not be on your W-2, it will be a combination of all your tax information that you have or will have. Most taxpayers will enter in the information they have to get an estimation on what is owed and will pay that when they file their extension. If you are not able to determine an estimation, you can file your extension without a payment.
