When asked if, "I was a full time student", does this mean during 2023 as a whole or during a certain part, or at any time in the past?

I was a full-time student for the first 5 months of 2023, but not at the end of 2023 as the surrounding questions were

You qualify.  For education credits or dependent status, "full time student" means enrolled in a full-time program for at least 1 day in at least 5 months.  So the Spring semester of college makes you considered to be a full time student for the whole year for tax purposes.
