What is 'is this babysitting a qualified or business under section 199A?

Section 199A also called the Qualified Business Income deduction (QBI).   QBI is a deduction that allows most self-employed taxpayers and small businesses to exclude up to 20% of their qualified business income from federal income tax.  Babysitting is a qualified business.  For more information about QBI see the TurboTax help articles below:

What is “qualified business income” (QBI)?

What types of businesses does this new deduction apply to?

What’s an SSTB?

How is the deduction calculated? (Not for the faint of heart!)
