We paid health insurance premiums out of pocket to Humana because neither one of our employers offered insurance. Where do you deduct this amount?

Health insurance premiums are considered to be medical expenses, and are included on your schedule A (itemized deductions).

To get to the input screen for itemized deductions:

• Click on Search at the top of your screen
• Enter "Itemized deductions" in the search box 
• The first link that comes up should by Jump to itemized deductions - click on this link

Note:  Medical expenses are subject to a 10% of AGI floor (7.5% floor if you were born before January 2,1952), and will be deductible only to the extent that they exceed this amount.
