W-2 Info in TurboTax

When entering W-2 info, the program does not allow me to type in my social security number. I would like to import my W-2 but it won't proceed any further.

To clarify, did you enter your Social Security Number in the "Personal Info" section first, before reporting the W-2?

Are you now typing or importing the W-2?

Not all employers support the capability to import your W-2. If the employer's name is not in their list of employers who are able to transmit/ import, then you'll have to enter your W-2 manually.
