Version of TurboTax Business for death in December 2022

I purchased 2023 Turbotax 

business to fill out Form 1041 for my mother’s estate. She died on December 25, 2022.  I am having trouble filling in the dates for the return. It isn’t calendar year, right?  It automatically select fiscal year ending November 2023 but then is reporting a problem with a stock sale reported on November 11, 2023. It is saying the “date sold is not a date in the current tax year”.

Did the estate have any income for December? If not, you could start the estate's tax year in January (in which case it would end in December of 2023, which would not only encompass your stock transaction but would actually be a calendar year).
