Using desktop - I don't have a PIN. Rejected for putting in PIN. Updated to remove PIN. Still getting rejected for incorrect PIN. Its like the software is not updating

The subject says it all - I made a mistake when filing on the desktop app and it does not seem to be ammending. I went on the IRS site and I defintely do not have a PIN but I am still getting my file rejected for a PIN mismatch even though I updated my return to say I don't have a PIN. I feel like there is a bug on the desktop that is not letting it update. I can't file online anymore because its too late and I spent $80 on this crappy software.
