Update problem still alive and well in 2024....

"Updating" issue still a problem. I am pretty dang sure that on December 2024 there are no ACTUAL critical updates to TT 2023. But....Intuit wants to keep it's controlling little mitts in the program and INSISTS on updating (hah!) before opening, pretending it is doing something. Right. Yes, I know this is supposed to be for our own good early in the season, to make sure we don't avoid having the most recent version, but seriously. Critical updates that actually matter PAST THE END OF THE FILING YEAR? I'm not buying it.
