Trying to e-file and received this message:
601ERRV:5; CustHdr_17-?:? - Invalid SMS Number. Must be between 10 and 10 digits.
When will this be fixed??
Would it do any good to complete the whole return again? If so, how do I get a refund for the first failed attempt?

You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Add a US phone number for the Turbo Tax profile. You need to click Intuit Account in the lower left of the Turbo Tax page and enter a U. S. phone number and then your password and save it. I don't even think it needs to be a valid phone number because when you go to file the return, it gives you an option to get email updates and/or text messages. Just make up a U. S. number if needed and don't check the box saying you want text messages and you should be able to get the taxes filed.
I changed phone number as requested still received same error message. Idea: How about I start over using only US Data? If I do that can I get a refund on the first filing attempt? I have so little money in Thailand that it will never require reporting
10 digits means 10 not eleven.
Don't enter +1.
Found a another place with phone number. Changed to us and everything worked. e-file is complete. Issue is closed THANK YOU
Where did you find the other place to change phone number?
Im having the issue for days now and cant seem to find the answer anywhere.
Thanks
Sorry I don't remember but it had to do with my mailing address. I filed a simple return. Just go through each page carefully.
