Turbotax does not allow me to complete the HSA section properly.

There was a similar question asked in 2023 for 2022 taxes.  This situation is slightly different and I want to see if the same guidance applies.

I have an HDHP plan with an HSA through my employer and had it for every month of 2023.  My spouse is covered by my HDHP and was covered for every month of 2023.

As I go through the questions related to the 1099-SA associated with my HSA, the following question is asked, "What type of High Deductible Health Plan did <spouse> have on December 1, 2022?"  If I answer "Family," which seems like the correct answer, the next question asks why my spouse's HDHP coverage lapsed in 2023 (disability or some other reason) even though her coverage did not lapse.  If, however, I go back and change my answer to "none," I get no further prompts.

I just want to make sure that "none" is the correct answer when my spouse was covered under my HDHP and HSA for every month on 2023.

Thanks.

'None' is the correct answer in this case because your spouse was covered under the Family plan that was in your name, not your spouse's name.  Your spouse had no HDHP plan in their name, therefore you would answer 'none'.
