turbotax crash 0n w2 entry

on windows7 and same dell system for several yrs, but first first time using firefox. everything ok until it asked if if had add'l w2's. the program crashed on my no reply.happened 3 times at same place. now, i cant find previously entered w2 info.. is this an app problem?

Prior to launching TT, right click your program icon and select "properties".

In the properties box, select the "compatibility" tab.

On the compatibility tab CHECK the box next to "run this program in compatibility mode"

Checking this box will open a drop down menu.  In the drop down menu select "Windows 7"

CHECK the box next to "run as administrator".

Then click "Apply"

Then click "OK"

I am having the same problem.  After making W2 entry, error comes up and Turbotax closes.  Cannot get past this without Turbotax closing down.  Also, last year's W2 entries are not showing.  

Hope someone from Turbotax can fix this problem so we can complete our taxes soon!

I spoke with a rep from TT today.   She talked me through what to do to solve this issue and it was the same information that AGDLF replied with.    Worked for me.
