TurboTax Business for Trusts - Many bugs

I just finished several painful days of using TurboTax Business to prepare and file 2021 state and federal trust tax returns.  It has many bugs.  Much of the information inputted for the federal Form 1041 does not migrate over to the (MA) state return, and information inputted into the state return worksheets (such as percent distribution among beneficiaries) is then inconsistently reported on the relevant schedules.  To top it off, the preview of the returns as they are supposedly to be e-filed do not include the signed form 8453-FE - it appears as an unsigned form.  I spent at least an hour with customer support trying to address this before the specialist concluded that this is a bug in the system - she said the signed form 8453-FE would be attached, even though the preview does not show it to be.  We'll see if the return gets accepted.  Customer support is also sketchy, as many of the "specialists" seem unfamiliar with the product.  One even told me that he could not provide customer support because I was not online. (TurboTax Business is not available online.)

That is correct; the 8453-FE is attached separately (after it is printed, signed, and scanned) from a file saved on your computer. The list of forms displays an unsigned 8453-FE.

Provided you followed the instructions for the attachment of the 8453-FE, you should not have an issue with your return being rejected for that reason.
