Turbotax 2024 on mac needs administrator logon to install update

Opening Turbotax 2024 on mac requires installing the latest update, which triggers Autoupdate popup which needs administrator logon. I don't remember my administrator password, so can't run Turbotax even without the update. Is there any way to install the update without the popup?
