I have used TurboTax Home and Business for many years (since 2001) without any software problems. The 2023 TurboTax Home and Business was fine UNTIL I was doing the STATE. It keeps closing on me while I am doing the CA Form 568!!! Does not give me any error code, only a pop-up that says "It appears there is an error and we need to close TurboTax" But does not give me what the error is about!! And yes, the software is updated to the latest. Tried the following without success. Customer support is no help!
1. Rebooted my computer - did not solve the problem.
2. called customer support - she suggested I delete the state. The software will not allow me.
3. Uninstall the software, reboot the computer, reinstall the software, and try again. Still the same issue.
4. So I thought to try to start a new return, The Federal section is fine until the State, same issue with CA from 568. It won't let me finish and prevents me from going any further.
Does anyone experience this? If so, any solutions are much appreciated.
