My 2023 TurboTax Desktop software application suddenly closes, causing me to relaunch the application and open my tax file. On one occasion, I had to rely on the auto-save file from 5 minutes prior to the sudden closing of the application and figure out what, if any, changes I made since the auto-save. It seems to shut down suddenly shortly after navigating from Step-by-Step view to Forms view, or from Step-by-Step view to Show Topics List.
Upon opening the 2023 TurboTax Desktop application for the first time this morning, I recall it installed a software update from 9/17/2024.
Is anyone else experiencing unexpected shutdown / exiting of desktop version of software application? Is there any way to fix this?
