What a SCAM.
I filed 2020 taxes using TurboTax and later found that there were two mistakes made by TurboTax software
(1) Although I filed for extension using turbotax, my filed tax document didn't mention that and I had to pay interest penalty close to $500 for state taxes.
(2) When I added my second 1098 form, my $5000 refund turned into a negative $500 due. There seems to be a glitch in the system but I can't discuss with these FRAUDULENT people since I didn't pay for Live support. I notice this mistake while auditing my taxes from 2020.
I ended up paying approx $1000 in state taxes instead of receiving a $5000 refund. There is no way to contact HUMAN customer service. They keep sending you in loops after loops that are filled with bots.
SHAME SHAME SHAME on you. Ironically they claim MAX RETURNS GURANTEED. (in small fonts they write if you don;t get max refund we will refund you $30 . LOL... I almost lost close to $6000 here....Keep your $30 with you fraudsters)

An extension is only an extension to file not to pay. Any tax owed must be paid by the due date of the return of interest will start on any unpaid amount. When you file for an extension it tell you that.
There is no single published number because it changes contently depending on the nature of the call and agent availability. Following the link below will either give a current number for you to call or take your number for a callback.
(Note that phone support is for paying customers only. There is no phone support for Free Customers.)
Here is a TurboTax FAQ for contacting customer support.

Thanks for your reply. Couple of points here to note based of what I was told by OR state IRS office person. There is a box on the tax form that asked if you had filed for extension. That box on the form wasn't checked by turbo tax software and that is why OR state is charging me interest starting from July15th on overdue taxes. I was told by them that if I can provide proof of extension filing, they will refund the interest amount I was charged.
Moreover, I actually didn't owe any taxes. It was TurboTax software that miraculously turned my ~$5K refund into ~$500 in taxes due. It was caused by adding my second 1098 form. If at all , my refund should have been increased by adding another mortgage interest to my deductions.
NOTE THAT: I paid for the software and I am not a free customer using free version of your software.
