Turbo Tax CPAs - collecting information?

I have encountered this issue (not sure if this is an issue) with Turbo Tax CPAs. In last 2-3 years lots of people working from home not sure how check and balances work.

During Tax season whenever you call TT,

First choice you get is talk to someone mostly associated with product information

If this person can't handle your request or if you have Tax related question they can transfer your Call to Tax specialist

3rd Option if you have complicated situation, you can ask to speak to CPA.  I have done that (in general TT people don't like it but if they can't handle your situation they do let you speak with a CPA with wait time of course).

Situation, I only prepare my taxes once a year. So I kind of forget where every thing is. It takes me some time to get used to whole software each year.

2 years ago, When I was preparing my taxes, I was stuck at some question (yellow light, not going away). I called and spoke to CPA and did screen sharing, but he was asking me to go very first page and go to top. I did that too. At that time I did not realize why he want to see top of very first page of tax file. It does have very important information like your biographical info such as SS#, address, bank account etc.

Issue was simply to uncheck a box in form 1116. Once going through first page , he was like think, just uncheck a box. Both, first page and form 1116 are neither related nor linked. I have a suspicion he was taking SCREEN SHOT.

May be I a bit novice or not robust in knowing product functions, at that time I did NOT ask why he needed to see Page 1 info (biographical information) as they are NOT linked.

Last year. Same thing. I spoke to different CPA. He was like, he could not see the screen clearly as font is too small for him. Would I let him download my tax file (I guess this whole tax return will be downloaded to him, not just current form) as font size is too small. I did let him download but I had to check few boxes at my end first. I did have bad feelings afterwords.

Again, as I said I only prepare taxes once a year but tax pro should know all product functions. There is font option on TT screen, you just increase or decrease font. He did NOT need to download my file. I only realized afterwords. Issue was Font Size, why he need my entire file at his computer?

How clients information is handled at Turbo Tax end esp. when lots of people still working at home?

Any mishaps at Turbo Tax end?

Or I am over thinking?
