TT 2023 DeskTop software won't start

I last used TT 2023 in June 2024 starting the program from the desktop icon. Worked fine.

Now Sept 2024 and the program will not start from the desktop icon. Dbl click and nothing happens.

I attempted to reinstall (CD) with the repair option and got a long message about a file could not be installed because a file could not be found a cabinet file.

"The file '_fdp.1_ws_0083f_stdptt_idf_smrof cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."
