The income you earned driving for Uber is considered self-employment income and should be reported on Schedule C. To enter this income without a 1099, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return
- Under the Wages and Income section, scroll down and click on Self-Employment Schedule C: 1099-NEC, 1099-K, expenses
- Click Start/Update and walk through the interview questions
- Enter Rideshare Driving for the type of work
- Walk through the interview questions and when you get to the screen Let's enter the income for your Rideshare driving work, choose Other self-employed income, includes cash and checks if you did not receive a 1099.
