trust with an EIN number

I formed a trust in 2023 with the intention. of putting 2 properties in it.  I do have an EIN # and did get the IRS letter stating to file a 1041.

I have not put anything in the trust as of today.   Do i need to file anything?

From the instructions to Form 1041, you may not need to file the trust tax return since you don't have any taxable income for the year and you have less than $600 in gross income:

You can find the instructions here:  Instructions to Form 1041

Also note, for future reference, that if this is a grantor trust, you have filing options.
