Transferring Prior Year Tax Return Info

For the last three years, I have uploaded the TurboTax software from a CD format to my Windows PC. Each year, the software has given me a comparison of what my prior amounts have been, transferred depreciation related info for a rental property, brought in my previous employer's information from W2s, etc.

This year, I decidied to download the on-line version of TurboTax. As a result, almost nothing has transferred in from the prior year TurboTax as it has in years past. The only thing it would do was transfer in the PDF file version of my tax return, which would include basically nothing beyond my name in address. THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I really would have to think this is only happening because I'm using the on-line version of this software. Has anyone else had this problem? Could someone please tell me what is going on and how I can fix this?
