I am going to assume you are filing 2024 taxes and need your carryover payment. Look at your 2023 KS return. When you filed your taxes last year, you could apply some or all of your refund to this year's taxes.
- If you took the entire refund, then zero was applied to this year.
- If you owed, zero was applied to this year.
- Otherwise, take a look at last year's tax return, line 35 to see how much you applied to this year.
If you are trying to file your 2023 return, line 20 has tax withheld from w2s and 1099s. Line 21 has estimated tax paid. If this does not answer your question, please reply with more information.
