This yr TTax Login asked for User ID?

I've been using Turbo Tax products for 20yrs. I've always had a Username (usually my email) and Password to login. For the Forum I also have a Display name. But I've never had or heard of a User ID? Anyhow this year TTax said I needed to create one which I tried but when I clicked submit it said " Oops something went wrong we're on it" and that was the last of it. I can login still with no problems and have not heard about this User ID since. Anybody know what all this is and what's it about?
