Do I file my son's 1098-T AND 1099-Misc under my return or his?

My college student received a 1098-T (amounts in Box 2 and Box 5) and a 1099-Misc (for a textbook and technology allowance; amount in Box 3). I included the 1098-T on my tax return. Do we file the 1099-Misc under my return as well, or does he file his own return with only the 1099-Misc? He has no other income. How do I enter the 1099-Misc?

If you are claiming the student as a dependent then you can enter both forms in your return and the student will likely not need to file their own return.

Hi! Where would I enter the 1099-Misc on my return in TT? It seems that I can designate the 1099-Misc for myself or my spouse, but not my dependent. (I was able to "assign" the 1098-T to my dependent within my return.)

This will depend on the data in the form. Here is a link to an answer to a similar question: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4688193
