You do need to report the Form 1099-R on your tax return as the IRS may look for that entry. You should have saw a screen asking if you rolled the money into an HSA account after you entered the Form 1099-R into TurboTax:
For the entry I made, I used code "7" in box 7, indicated that it was an IRA account, said I did something else with the money when asked about that and left the box 2(a) entry blank. The distribution showed on line 4(a) of Form 1040, but not on the taxable IRA amount on line 4(b).
