For the past several years, the indicator of a “D” in the left margin of Line 6A on Form 1040 gets overwritten by the word “benefits” upon PDF generation for printing. The problem is NOT an Abode issue, as even with the Pro version, the D gets overwritten. All the suggested printing/printer“workarounds” do not fix the issue, TurboTax Product Specialists, including a Supervisor, are evidently NOT enabled to open a Ticket to investigate this issue because of internal Intuit/Turbotax escalation procedures. Because of this now TurboTax confirmed bug, IRMAA deductions from Medicare as performed by the Social Security Administration for benefits calculation may be incorrect (too high). Those of us that file MFS and live apart from our spouses really would appreciate it if Intuit would do the right thing and fix this issue.
