Taxpayer just died and we have to file her 2023 return. (Alive for all of 2023) We do not have any death certificates, etc yet. Can we file a regular return 2023?

Yes. You can and you should file a "regular" return for the deceased for 2023. There is a question in the Personal Information section where you indicate Yes or No to "I'm preparing this return for [Deceased], who has passed away."
