Are your parents entitled to claim you?
If so, your filing status is still Single. Your filing status is not affected if you are a dependent on another return.
You will need to indicate that you are a dependent on another return here:
- Personal Info tab
- click the Edit pencil next to your name
- scroll down to A few other things we need to know
- say Yes to Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return
This will remove your own exemption from your tax return. It may also remove certain tax credits that you had on your return. This depends on the specifics of your tax return. In some cases, this wouldn't make any difference on your refund at all.
