Ok so all the stuff I was reading from a day ago in this forum was not right about no DD but paper checks? 

So we are getting it DD with Turbo card

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these types of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

I have the same situation as you but I never got an email. Can u tell me if u got the tax loan from Jackson Hewitt cuz I’m hearing that if u got the loan then u will have to wait on a paper check cuz of some third party crap.

Doesn’t seem like it’s everyone at once... seems like it’s a trickle but based on the irs and other readings I would think we all should have the money by mid next week. I just think it’s proof that the ttcard will get the deposit.

I just spoke to a specialist at turbo tax who advised that "getting a portal set up with the tax refund payments to the turbo debit card accounts took a lot of work behind the scenes" and therefore anyone who signed up to receive their refund on the turbo visa debit card will RECEIVE A PAPER CHECK as they're not "reopening the portal" for stimulus money to be deposited into those accounts. 

SHE DID SAY IF YOU FILED "THIS YEAR OR LAST YEAR" THEY WILL USE THE INFO ON YOUR 2018 RETURN FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT. I'LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT. 

I've been a turbo tax user for over ten years - never again!! What a disgrace!!

Guys, we gotta give the Tax Experts a break 🎬. If they don't know they just don't know. They ask, and the people they ask dont know either. The whole thing is being run by an Autonomatron.

Some of the Tax Experts, IRS reps, and bankers best assumptions after considering the facts is: Yes, it has a routing and acct#, and the irs already put refunds on it before so yeah, why not now? Others may speculate that "Maybe not" because of complex inner working of 3rd parties, fees, advances and so forth...they say, maybe not?

Neither, can SAY. It must suck to have to keep posting that form letter they have been sent down from the FOOLS at the top! The REAL ones who should know...rather, they remain hidden, and shielded, by people who probably could have handled this better than they.

The Tax Experts simply can not announce their speculative conclusion. It is not confirmed, and frankly, it is forbidden. They have been fiven a script and told to stick to it until the Autonomaton does whatever it's going to do.

We just gotta wait, Monday thru Wednesday 2:00 (I got my refund after a1:30 bank posting).

So let's just not even ask them anything else. Let's ask EACH OTHER

      1) Ttcard holders- Have you gotten a pending notification from ttcard or do you have a pending notification online?

I am a No and a No, or maybe just an "I don't know". (I am LOCKED out of my email And the ttcard site bc I lost my old phone and they all want me to verify thru a phone I no longer have.... sigh...See??!!!

You realize it’s Saturday evening and it wouldn’t be a tax expert at this time and day and that people are reporting getting the notification? There isn’t a portal to open if employers can direct deposit into the same account just saying think about it. Everyone is blowing it out of proportion and not thinking realistic that it’s a checking account it even tells you it’s a checking account when you look at the account t type.

Mine is a Jackson Hewitt American Express serve card but I’m thinking they all work the same way. I hope ur right and he’s full of **bleep**. I just hate not knowing and I can’t find a clear answer but the majority of the research I’ve done says it’s not coming on my card.  Crossing my fingers I’m wrong.

I am surprised TurboTax is allowing reps to blurt out their speculations Willy Nilly. They're all over the place. They should have been given the same form letter as the Tax Experts and told whoever goes beyond it is Fired.

I stand simply on the flat out facts. If you got direct deposit for your 2019 refund from the IRS then they are sending the stimulus too. Otherwise, they are saying the ttcard us not eligible for "Employer"direct deposit... A key marketing factor for the card.

Additionally, getting this money out to all of America is already hard enough, without adding Tens of millions of MORE God be Damned😈👿 "paper"checks😰 when these people already had perfectly fine accounts that accept direct deposit WITH rtg & acct#'s Tried and True!🔨

Dito!! I believe everyone needs to chill and just wait and see what happens. I believe it willbe deposited on the card. Its a greendot card. Its a checking account. Irs said everyone with a checking account will receive their stimulus check that way. Im just going to wait and see what happens and not jump the gun....
