Hi, I had a question regarding state tax forms. I am a permanent NJ resident who will be subletting an apartment in VA for two months while working a paid internship at a federal agency in DC. As part of my payroll onboarding, I am being asked to submit a "State Tax Form (MW-507, VA-4, D-4)". The problem is that I don't know if any of these apply to me or if I should just submit an NJ-W4, for example. Through some searching I found conflicting answers, including submitting a NJ-W4 or submitting a D-4A Certificate of Nonresidence in the District of Columbia, etc. Would anyone be able to guide me in the right direction?
