Solved: Special Needs adult dependent

I have guardianship of my 20year old special needs daughter. She is unable to work or provide for herself. We do not collect SSI for her. Is there any dependent tax credit I can qualify for? We pay 100% of her expenses and she has $0 income.

You can claim her as a dependent and have $500 for the Other Dependent credit.

I usually claim my gf as a dependent on fed taxes. This year (2024) she was awarded SSDI benefits. If claim her on my 2023 taxes can this cause an issue with her SSDI?
