Social Security income did not carry over to Georgia form 500 line 8

Your Social Security income shouldn't carry over to line 8 of Georgia's Form 500

However, the taxable portion of your Social Security income, as displayed on line 6b of Form 1040 or Form 1040-SR should be included on line 8 of your Georgia return.

It's then subtracted from your state income on line 8 of Schedule 1, which carries over to line 9 of Form 500.
