Has this bug been fixed yet? Is there a work around for this bug? Does Turbotax have a timeline for fixing this bug?

There are e-file issues with the Form 1116 in general. Please sign up for notification here: Form 1116 reject error
If you have both AMT and FTC, you can elect for "Simplified Limitation" which lets you use the same foreign source income for AMT as for regular taxes. Per IRS, you must make the election the first tax year after 1997 when you claim an AMTFTC. If you don’t make the election for that year, you cannot make it for a later year. Once the election was made, it applies to all later tax years and can be repealed only with IRS consent.
Is Turbo Tax working to fix this problem with Simplified AMT FTC Limitation? We are getting error code and it won't let us file electronically. Hoping it will be fixed before file date of May 17th so we can e-file
I've got the exact same issue and am sure this is a glitch. Is there any know work around or ETA on fix?
Okay !! July 29, 2021 and still looking for this fix. Anyone figure it out? Apparently Turbotax doesn't have the time to fix errors for its customers.
According to user's April 6, 2021 post below, they called Turbotax and were told "to wait for updates." How long do we need to wait. We've already had to file for an extension !!
Was the issue fixed in TurboTax 2021?
