noone on this public forum can see your return or data. if the return showed a refund of over $2K but you got only about $1.5k, did you get a refund advance? That would be taken out and not reflected on your return. if the $2K was the Turbotax refund meter that combines federal and state refunds.  They don't come at the same time. For other reasons you should receive a letter from the IRS explaining the change. this should come within 3 weeks, or you could try calling the iRS.
