Self Employee Screen keeps saying "Something Went Wrong" with no explanation. Can't do anything on this screen. Can't Add New Line of Business. Can't edit.

Interestingly, has 2 different Schedule C's from 2 different years and the program keeps trying to add a 3rd line of business with my first name as the tile when I delete one of the other lines

Are you wanting to use the two Schedule C forms?  Or are you wanting to use now the three Schedule C forms?  Please advise.

The Schedule C with your first name in the title may have been created when you entered an IRS form 1099-NEC.

A cleaner practice is to:

  1. create the Schedule C, then
  2. enter the IRS 1099-NEC income as income into the Schedule C.

If you want to remove one or more Schedule C, remove by following these step:

  • Select Tax Tools down the left side of the screen.
  • Select Tools down the left side of the screen.
  • Select Delete a form.
  • Scroll down and select the appropriate Schedule C.
  • Select Delete.
