Schd K-1 Adj Gross Income Question

Hello, i was entering details on a 1041 form and noticed that my AGI increased by more than the Net Investment Income listed on line 14, code E. From what I can tell, the AGI is based on the sum of the 1. Interest Income, 2a Ordinary dividends and 4a Net long-term capital gains. Is that correct? Shouldn't the AGI be based on 1 + 2a? TIA
