I've had such a hard time dealing with this Santa Barbara Tax Payers Group aka "the bank Turbo Tax uses". My inquiry is regarding a prior year return that I need confirmation if they received my funds, or if it will come straight to me since I no longer owe the fees due to the delay, and paid out of my checking account rather than refund transfer. I've emailed my request as the website states and received a very vague response. "Contact IRS".
And of course IRS says to contact SBTPG for updated info??? As popular as Turbo Tax is used nationwide, you would think they would use a "bank" or 3rd party processor that values their commitment to serve customers in a professional and timely manner. Lesson Learned!! Never again will I opt in for refund transfer to pay any fees. And that's IF (a BIG IF) I decide to continue using Intuit Turbo Tax going forward.

You will also save $40 in fees by not having TT's fees come from your refund.
