TURBOTAX i was a 1st time customer and am getting this error I keep getting told it is a processing error and it will be "fixed tomorrow " my return originally showed rejected but now shows pending.  What is actually happening? I need my return filed

If you used TurboTax Online, you can see the status of your return on  the Tax Home screen of your account.  You should have also received emails updating you on your return status.  

If you used TurboTax Desktop:

Select File.

Select Check E-file status.

Once your return is accepted, you can visit the IRS Where's My Refund? to check the status of your refund.  Most e file returns take 21 days to process.  If your refund includes Earned Income Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will start making those refunds available by March 2, 2026.
