Hello,
I am a bit puzzled by the following:
I received a 1099MISC from Robinhood, because they granted me a free stock.
That free stock is listed on my Miscellanous detailed form as "Other Income" (transaction type field)
However, a third party told me I could classify it as Fees/commissions.
That classification has a big impact because, as a non resident alien, I am using Sprintax and they do not support the "Other Income" type option of Miscellanous income.
What should I do?

you need to find "other tax software".
1040 Line 7a "other income" is the correct category.
If it's under 50 dollars, check the Tax Tables, there may be no change in your tax.
I gave those information to Sprintax and they still believe that I can classify that "Other income" on my Miscellanous 1099 Form as Fees/commission.
