Reporting foreign fellowships

Hello,

I earned a prestigious German fellowship while I lived in Germany for 5 months. My American employer only paid for my health insurance benefits during this time -- so I had only one source of income which was my German fellowship. How do I report this with the turbotax software and is it taxable?
