Because you live in Missouri and work in Kansas, you are a nonresident of Kansas. You should generally be filing a Kansas Nonresident Return (Form K-40) and, if Kansas tax was withheld, claiming a credit for taxes paid to your home state of Missouri.
Check your state tax return and make sure you are a Kansas nonresident and a Missouri resident. You then need to remove the credit for taxes paid to another state on the Kansas return.
If you cannot clear the error, it may be easiest to delete both state returns, and then re-enter with Kansas (nonresident) completed first the Missouri.
