I printed it to review what the issue was. the information is filled in on the wrong line in section C when i should be in section D. It is a back-end issue on turbo tax that they have to go in and change. Nothing i have done and no one I have spoken to has helped.

Very frustrating supposed to be the last of 3 years of this and was supposed to be easy I even paid estimated taxes on top of wages just so I would not owe on 2022 taxes but it is so frustrating and I have tried everything and it still refuses. Then Turbo tax states I can mail my return? What was the point of buying the disc to have it efiled as I have many times before. Maybe should have went to an H& R Block or a CPA and not have to get this issue?
If this isn't resolved this week I'm filing a fraud charge with my Credit Card Co to get my $ back for the software. I'll start over with someone who wants to help me.
I may try a new software program next year. if it works from with what expert Brittany S gave us then I will be much happier to stay with Turbo tax if it works
That was great. I am so happy to hear that. I am going to try that and see what happens maybe mine will get accepted . I think since I started before the update it could have screwed it up. Thanks glad it worked for you.
I will try a few of these steps I got from a few places in these discussions to see if they work. I have the desktop version as well.
SOLVED: If you started your taxes before the latest revision of form 8915-F was released, then your return will have the outdated form still attached and will be rejected by the IRS.
My return was rejected 3 times before. I went into "Tools" and deleted the "Corona Virus Distribution 2020" and "Form 8915-F" forms, then I went through the steps again to add/skip 1099-R's and add a Disaster Distribution for 2020. This worked and my return was accepted within 2 hours.
Yaaah my returns were accepted. It was the form that held me up. It took a while I had to void the form then go into it by changing it then back to right amounts it cleared the wrong things on form that IRS did not accept. . It was a bunch of switching around and checking the form again and again until I entered the right way again. I used the deskt
op version. Finally the form cleared and submitted the amounts from my past files sent efile and it accepted. Check the community for the instructions for your online or desktop whatever you use. Thanks community much helpful.

Monique,
I've spoken to Norma, Robert and Dave, who was identified as a Supervisor, over the past two days. I've logged over 5 hours talking with them about the same Form 8915-F problem. First, I think that it's important to note that Intuit released at least two different versions of TurboTax 2022: On-line and Desktop/Download, with several additional sub-levels (e.g., Exhorbitant, Superb, Premier, Deluxe...lol). The On-Line and Desktop/Download versions are apparently two very different animals, neither of which have been tamed wrt Form 8915-F and its ancillary worksheet(s). I expect that Intuit got wrapped around the Corona Virus which hijacked 8915 over the past 2-3 years. TurboTax 2022's Form 8915-F is still not yet ready for primetime. The IRA released its latest version on January 23, 2023, almost two months ago. Unfortunately, Intuit appears to have taken a stance in the past few years that requires its customers to trouble-shoot TT software bugs. Intuit's guarantee that my Tax Returns will be submitted error-free is in grievous trouble this year as I know of many TT users who are no longer willing to pay $50-$300 for software that requires users to "Do the Hokey Pokey" to get it to function. If this isn't corrected post haste, I expect Intuit will be answering to a Class Action Lawsuit `brought by users who are already reeling from Natural Disasters that took their homes, their health and possibly the lives of loved ones over the past few years. Recommend that you or someone in a position of authority at Intuit rally all the Intuit "Experts" to fix the various problems and release TT solutions for On-line and Desktop/Download that meets customer expectations of professional financial software...
Thanks!
